The curry tree is widely seen in the tropical and subtropical regions.

It belongs to the family Rutaceae, and it is a native to India.

It is most widely seen in the Indian cooking 

Usually fried in the vegetable oil along with mustard seeds and chopped onions at the first stage of preparation.

These leaves are been used in Ayurveda and siddha medicine in which they are been believed to have anti-disease properties.
