  • Carrot is a vegetable, grows underground. So, it is also called as root vegetable.

  •  The plant probably originated in Persia and was originally cultivated for its leaves and seeds. 

  • The most commonly eaten part of the plant is the taproot, although the stems and leaves are eaten as well.

  • Carrots has the good source of fiber, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K, Biotin, potassium and thiamine.

  • Carrots offer several health benefits and are particularly beneficial for organs like the eyes, skin, digestive system and teeth.
